Kris Gruen started out in NYC, but has been fed and thrived in the natural world, including Vermont with his farmer wife and as station director of WGDR/WGDH, Plainfield, VT. Kris has a style all his own, combining mystic poetry with new folk influences, and with the Kris Gruen secret ingredient.

Victoria Vox is more than a beautiful voice, she's a creative font of folk/pop music, occasionally in French, always in style & beauty. Write a song each week for 52 weeks? She's done it. Writing songs since she was 10, inspired by the likes of Cyndi Lauper & Madonna, and powered by the ukelele, Victoria's music is full of grace & depth.

Sue West (AKA RuralRootsMusic.com) is all about traditional folk music, including the traditional songs that she writes. With a strong environmental & spiritual bent, Sue's music conveys simplicity and depth of feeling, and a sense of rootedness. Plus, she is a prolific songwriter when under the leading of the muse and she plays with the Rush River Ramblers, an old-time string band.

David Roth is great! Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul & Mary) said, and we agree, "David has reached our hearts. His music is tender, classic, insightful, personal, and sometimes funny.

Stephen Lee Rich is a musician with a joke (or a comedian with a song), a yodeler, and a leading figure in the work of Musicians United to Protect Bristol Bay. Based in Madison, WI, and performing & recording frequently with Sandy Andina, Stephen is both serious and humorous and caffeine-fueled.

Priscilla Herdman is a shy person with the gift of a singing voice that carries the listener to laughter, tears, and wonder. With 13 CD, some solo, some family albums, and some as part of a trio, Priscilla shares audio riches to paint pictures. Trained to work in fashion, the folk music scene stole her away, and the rest is history, shared here!

Ben Tousley is a folksinger with a great mix of song and spirit, with 6 CDs to his personal credit, plus one more recently released with Sue Kranz. His degree from Harvard Divinity School prepared him as chaplain to college students, the elderly and to hospice patients. As a cancer survivor, he understands vulnerability, anguish, and hope from the inside, and it ends up in his music, his hospice work, and in his teaching.

Michael Johnson journeys between folk, rock, & country charts, reaching the tops of the respect charts over the decades, with probing lyrics and excellent guitar. Recently returned from Nashville to the Twin Cities, Michael is making music with Red House Records & exploring connections with his newly-discovered daughter.

Ann Mayo Muir has a long pedigree as a folk singer/songwriter, including many years as part of the near-legendary trio, Bok,Trickett, & Muir. Talented on a number of instruments and with a beautiful, evocative, voice, there is power and depth in all of her music. With a deep connection to the sea, she lives in France on a peninsula jutting into the Mediterranean.

James Mudcat Grant is the Mudcat in Mudcat & the Bottomfeeders, an appropriate name for someone who has lived his life on the banks of the Mississippi. With 50 years of music making of rock, folk,country and other varieties, Mudcat has the chops and and heart for powerful music.
